Trainee Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for a trainee accountant in a successful local company. This is a full-time, permanent position. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be trained in this varied roll supporting the Finance Manager. Being able to show; motivation, organisational skills, self management and an ability to adapt to ad-hoc requests, is essential. An ideal position for someone looking for an active role within a small local business. AAT training for the successful applicant will be supported.

**Main duties include**:

- Processing of supplier invoices
- Raising of monthly sales invoicing
- Stock adjustments
- Timesheet posting
- Bank/Cash posting
- Organising training
- Credit control assistance
- Any other task required to assist Finance Manager or the wider company

**Person Specification**:

- Enthusiastic, conscientious, tidy minded, hard working
- Willing to get involved with a variety of tasks
- Good organisation skills
- Good communication skills
- Previous admin experience not essential, willing to learn

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
