**What does the Training Coordinator role involve?**
We are now recruiting for a Training Coordinator to join MTC to support the delivery of all operational training for MTC employees across the Manston Short-Term Holding Facility (STHF) by accurately scheduling and planning training events for the organisation.
We are offering a salary of £26,265 per annum for this full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role will be based at our training centre in Manston, Kent.
Your key tasks will include (but are not limited to):
- Planning and scheduling events or courses, booking the necessary trainers and venues.
- Recording attendance
- Producing monthly reports for management, using both Microsoft Office software and the organisation’s Learning Management System.
- Updating and maintaining training records with the highest levels of accuracy

**What are the requirements of the Training Coordinator?**
- Proven experience of coordinating, planning and scheduling lessons, events, meetings or appointments
- A professional, flexible and friendly approach - able to build strong relationships with key people across our organisation and work collaboratively with them
- A team player, also able to work independently to meet deadlines, and with high level of attention to detail
- Ability to multi-tasks and juggle various conflicting priorities
- High Proficiency in Microsoft office, in particular with Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with a willingness to learn new system technologies
- Experience of using Kallidus Learn or a similar learning management system
- Meets the requirements of the UK Home Office Counter Terrorism Clearance (CTC), including having been resident in the UK for a period of more than 3 years, and have either a British, EEA or Commonwealth passport with ILM. _We will ask all applicants invited to interview to complete an initial CTC questionnaire._
