**What we’re looking for**:
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to provide a range of administrative assistance to the Operations team and to contribute to the achievement of the business-wide objectives.
**We’ll trust you to**:
- Co-ordinate drivers by planning routes using company systems to ensure effective and efficient utilisation of our vehicles & ensure that the associated systems and paperwork are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Liaise with external and internal customers to effectively manage fleet and resources, ensuring seamless delivery to and from our stores, communicating with external suppliers as appropriate.
- Audit environmental compliance of approved tipping and quarry sites
- Ensure compliance with Vehicle and Operating Services Agency (VOSA) requirements through weekly monitoring.
- Undertake a range of other duties, ad-hoc work and projects as requested by the Performance Manager, Operations Controller and Logistics Support Officer.
**You’ll need to have**:
- Excellent organisation and administration skills.
- Excellent customer service skills
- A good standard of Microsoft Office skills and other standard desktop packages, in particular Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level is preferrable)
- Demonstrable knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- A positive attitude and the ability to operate individually and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to unexpected and varied circumstances
The following is also desirable but not essential:
- Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Valid Driving Licence
