**Location**: Remote working/Hybrid - National Responsibility

Our client is one of the largest suppliers of dried feeds and co-products to the UK animal feed industry. If you are passionate about the agricultural industry and have trading experience join their team managing a portfolio of direct to farm customers.

You will manage trading relationships with direct to farm customers across the UK with a focus on their Scottish customers. Using your knowledge and experience of the markets you will build relationships with customers and their sales team to share marketinsights that will maximise sales opportunities contributing to increased product growth while acting as a trusted partner to meet customer needs.

You will work closely with a number of teams including Business Development, procurement, supply Chain, Operations and Logistics therefore the ability to collaborate and communicate market insights, analytics and technical market movements will be key toensuring that they deliver on time/in full customer delivery therefore the ability to communicate and build strong relationships will be key to success in this role.

To be successful they're looking for the following knowledge, skills and experience:

- Commodity market experience and a strong understanding of suppliers, markets, technical & fundamental analysis is desirable.
- Practical commercial experience and entrepreneurial flair with a demonstrable track record of achieving targets.
- An understanding of the fundamental drivers of the UK ruminant industries.
- Experience of using AX would be advantageous
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with good commercial awareness.

**Location**

This role is a hybrid position their office is based in Sherburn so occasional travel to the office will be required but you will be remote and supporting customers with a national responsibility. Their preference would be that you are based in NorthernEngland/Scotland however for the right person they can be flexible on location.
