**Administrator**:

**Hours**:37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

**Salary**: £20,923.50 per annum

Roborough House in Woolwell, Plymouth, are seeking an experienced administrator whom encompasses our company values, to join their friendly team on a full-time basis. Roborough House works to maximise the independence of service users who have experienced serious brain injuries, or who have other significant neurological conditions which require high levels of specialist support.

**Person Specification**:

- GCSE C or above in English and Mathematics
- Experience in an administrative role with working knowledge and experience in Microsoft packages, including Microsoft office and excel
- Excellent communications skills
- Good timekeeping and organisational skills
- The ability to work as part of a wider team, including the team within the hospital and the wider central support teams
- Experience of working with people with challenging behaviour is desired but not essential
- GCSE C or above in ICT is desired but not essential
- Experience in the use of finance/accounting software and using formulas within excel would be beneficial

**The role**:

- Support the Lead administrator in the completion of weekly staff reporting and roster creation.
- Support the Lead administrator in the upkeep on Petty cash recording on a day-today basis.
- To produce minutes as an accurate record of meetings, transcribing and distributing as directed, with supervision as appropriate.
- To maintain accurate and timely electronic and hard copy information using organizational systems as directed and in line with policies. Supporting operational staff to access management information; electronic and hard copy.
- Be compliant with the Data Protection and record management policies and procedures with particular reference to confidentiality and safeguarding issues.
- Be proactive and contribute ideas for improvement in the way the service is delivered.
- Key holder for on-site safes and locked areas.
- Provide cover to receptionist when required; supporting service users & visitors in the reception area, acting as the first point of enquiry and sign posting individual to relevant information / service.
- To deputize for the Lead administrator in their absence.
- This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. The post holder may be required to undertake other duties following appropriate discussion with their line manager._
