**_The Role _**

Hansen are looking for an experienced software engineer to help us continue to build and improve our product platform used by internal teams and customers alike.

Hansen currently use the.Net stack to build a highly customisable product backed by a product catalog, which makes for an interesting problem space.

You’ll be joining us at an exciting time, as we are in Cloud-Native journey with AWS and moving towards other cloud providers and on prem. Introducing leading edge technologies, enabling us to provide an efficient and resilient platform on which to continue developing product features to meet our customers’ needs.

**_Desirable Skills _**
- Knowledge of.NET/.Net Core using C#
- Knowledge of RESTful Apis
- Knowledge of code standards, SOLID, TDD, BDD using xunit and SpecFlow
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms and Docker
- Knowledge of Graph Database
- An understanding of the Agile methodology for software development
- Understanding of continuous integration, deployment, and delivery
- Strong analytical skills allowing you to investigate and resolve issues
- Good communication skills allowing you to share knowledge and improvements with your colleagues and other teams across the business

**_Key accountabilities _**
- Write high quality clean code which adheres to internal quality and security standards following coding best practices
- Alongside your team members, adopt and maintain a suitable branching, release, and versioning strategy to optimise the team’s ability to respond to change and frequently deliver working software.
- Troubleshoot and solve any issues that may arise with existing client systems

**_Education & Experience _**
- Essential _
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent work ethic, initiative, self-motivated and demonstrated ability to deliver in a team environment
- Programming experience
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Detail-oriented
- Desirable _
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent qualification
- Hands on experience in a software development environment
