**Singing Tutor - Hull centre** (approximately 2 hours per week TBC)

Applicants should have experience of teaching to advanced level, the ability to inspire and nurture young musicians and a high level of expertise in the specialist area of teaching.

Hourly paid: £36.03 per hour

YYM is a Centre for Advanced Training in Music supported by the Department for Education’s Music & Dance Scheme. We have centres at Leeds Conservatoire and The Albemarle, Hull every Sunday during term time. YYM provides access to the highest quality music tuition to promising young musicians, regardless of means, social or ethnic background, or whether they have any disability.

YYM aims to identify and nurture exceptional talent in all areas of performance and across a wide range of genres and traditions. Carefully managed auditions - looking for potential and not just existing achievements - help identify those who will benefit from YYM’s training.

YYM’s tutors are specially selected for their experience in the care and development of young musicians. They are active musicians at the top of their profession, well placed to equip students with all that they need to take their musical studies to the highest possible level. A friendly and caring team that has the importance of the student’s learning as paramount.
