This school is a maintained community special school for pupils aged between 10 and 16 (KS2 - KS4) who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school serves a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including;
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC);
- Attention Deficit, (Hyperactivity) Disorder AD(H)D;
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN);
- Opposition Defiance Disorder (ODD) and Attachment/Conduct disorders

They promote the highest standards of educational achievement at all levels and provide a broad and balanced education experience, personalised according to need.
- Can deliver English at KS2, KS3 or KS4 Level
- Engage, enthuse, motivate and challenge students in order for them to excel academically.
- Have relentlessly high expectations of themselves and students.
- Enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the Department and wider school through sharing resources and good practice, lesson observation, collaborative teaching and mentoring
- Make a positive contribution to the efficient running of the Department, including, setting and marking examinations, attending departmental meetings and undertaking administrative and other tasks as delegated by the Head of Department.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
