Switchboard Operator

We are looking for an individual to join our Small team working the Swithcboard/Helpdesk within Macclesfield District General Hospital.

This Position would be for x2 Night Shifts Per week

The switchboard operates on a 24hr system and you would be required to be flexible to work between the hours of 23.00pm - 07.00am

**Duties**:

- Operate a switchboard to route incoming calls and connect callers to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service
- Take accurate messages and relay them to the appropriate recipients
- Provide information to callers regarding company services, products, and policies

**Skills**:

- Excellent verbal communication skills and phone etiquette
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using office equipment such as switchboards
