Stitching Operative

**Pro Global are delighted to be assigned to work in connection with RLC Langford Lodge, to source experienced Stitching/Sewing Operators to join their team**

**What are the hours?**

Monday to Thursday 0730-1715

**What's the pay hourly?**

£15.78 Per Hour

**Overview**:
Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, the AT (Stitching) Operator will be required to carry out a range of stitching and assembly duties on fabric sub-assemblies and assemblies to the required standards of quality and output within defined procedures and in line with customer requirements.

**Main Duties**
- Establish job requirements from drawings, production cards or job instruction sheets.
- Stitching using industrial single, double and 4-needle machines, automatics, zigzag's, CNC's, binders, overlockers etc.
- Cutting, marking, gluing, identing, assembling and other manual sub-assembly work.
- Pack/unpack components to company specifications.
- Verify the work which has been carried out and record as necessary.
- Record any other necessary data.
- Always safely operate any equipment or process in line with proper procedure and wear appropriate clothing/equipment.
- Any additional tasks or duties deemed necessary to meet all responsibilities of the role.

**Required Experience**
- Experience in a fabric assembly/sewing environment.
- Experience with using various types of sewing machines.
- Experience in an Engineering / Manufacturing / Aerospace environment.
- Experience of working with small components.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions.
- Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and production cards.
