We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and capable coordinate measuring machine (CMM) inspector to perform CMM and mechanical inspection(s) of products to determine conformance to specification and drawing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Dimensional inspection of sensitive and safety critical components in accordance with Prodrive and other customer drawings and specifications.
- Program and run coordinate measuring machine (CMM) running PCDMIS software.
- Use of various mechanical inspection equipment (including, but not limited to; Shadowgraph, Height Gauge and others) to verify product conformity.
- Assist in the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other quality management system (QMS) procedures where required.
- Operate a professional interface with other Prodrive departments and external customers.
- Support processes to ensure inspection equipment is well maintained and calibrated where required, whilst also keeping all relevant documentation up to date.
- Adopt safe working practices in compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policy, drawing to attention of the Line Manager any matter of concern relating to safety of equipment, personnel or safety procedures.
- Adhoc duties as specified by the Quality Manager.

This role encompasses a shift working pattern of ‘Afternoon Shift Inspector’ working Monday - Thursday 14:00 - 00:00.

**Who Are We Looking for?**
- HNC or Equivalent in an Engineering discipline preferred.
- Able to program (on & offline) and operate a CMM running PC DMIS software (2019 onwards).
- Ability to operate and Romer/Faro inspection arm an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience of IATF / TS 16949 / ISO 9001 tools and techniques.
- Exposure to automotive/aerospace/defence or motorsport industries.
- Computer literate with use of the MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of inspection equipment and techniques.
- Extensive understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
- An ability to communicate at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent time management skills and task deadlines driven.
