**Job Description**:
As a **Regulatory Affairs Officer,** you will be a vital part of our Legal, Risk & Compliance team, reporting directly to the Regulatory Affairs Manager.

This role is instrumental in upholding our commitment to governance, compliance, and responsible business practices.

**Responsibilities for the Role**:

- Handling regulatory and licensing matters while providing essential administrative support.
- Play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and licenses for specific markets.
- Assist in managing regulatory affairs for specific jurisdictions, with a focus on remote gambling licensing.
- Keep yourself updated on relevant legislation and compliance changes, providing insights on potential impacts and assisting in the implementation of action plans when required.
- Conduct research and analyze licensing and regulatory requirements for new markets, market updates, and license renewals.
- Compile necessary information and documentation for timely submission of regulatory returns and other required reports.
- Conduct regular internal audits and training sessions across the organization to promote licensing and regulatory compliance.
- Proactively address and solve licensing and regulatory issues as they arise.
- ** Risk Management**: Under the guidance of the Regulatory Affairs Manager, manage end-to-end risk assessments.
- Maintain the Risk Register, ensuring it reflects any new risks or mitigation strategies, and promptly highlight any overdue risks.
- Collaborate with Risk Owners to manage and update risk investigation and mitigation efforts. Provide risk reports for assigned jurisdictions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all gambling license conditions and codes of practice by conducting regular internal audits and training sessions.
- Promptly escalate any licensing or regulatory issues to the Regulatory Affairs Manager.
- ** Relationship Management**: Cultivate positive relationships across the organization and with regulatory bodies, operators, and third-party stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with the Regulatory Affairs Manager and other teams to ensure the accurate and timely completion of projects, renewals, and reports.
- Offer comprehensive compliance support to the business and assist in resolving queries related to regulatory matters.
