Lead Cleaner

Lead Cleaner required for a school in Lowton. 24.5 hours a week Monday to Friday 14:06-19:00.

You will be contracted to work 42 weeks of the year but so that you are paid all year a seasonal deduction is applied. The spread over rate is £10.59 per hour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and lead a team of cleaners to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring all areas are cleaned according to schedule
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation
- Perform regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues or deficiencies
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed
- Communicate with clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing cleaning duties

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting heavy objects if required

- cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
