Level 2 Keyworker

Job Introduction
We are developing a new L2 Keywork Team that will deliver short term support focusing on increasing attendance at school - the Team will work with children and young people where school attendance has dropped below 50%
Working in the keyworker role you will be responsible for delivering a range of interventions with families on your caseload. You will complete assessments with each family and develop an Early Help Plan that identifies clear and measurable targets. You will then work closely with family members providing targeted support to assist them to make the changes identified in the Plan.
**Key tasks include**:
- Able to create and deliver packages of support for a caseload of families with a range of needs and to act as the lead professional to support the family to reduce barriers to attending school and develop strategies for continued good attendance.
- Work with all family members to undertake an assessment of needs and develop a Plan which encompasses individual family members needs and characteristics in relation to equality and diversity; that has clear and measurable targets for change that are agreed by the family.
- Deliver evidence based be-spoke programmes of support that are flexible and creative e.g. Parenting and behaviour etc, working within the family home and virtually using a variety of intervention methods including motivational interviewing and solution focused approaches.
- Work with partner agencies to provide a co-ordinated response to safeguard the family and ensure the best use of organisational resources to embed change.
**_Please note this role is open to people with experience of working with children, young people and families - a related qualification is not required. You will need Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English or be prepared to undertake an assessment. _**
Interviews will be scheduled within two weeks of the job advert closing and will be face to face or remotely via Microsoft Teams. We will try to accommodate any special requests for the interview slot if you are shortlisted for the role.

You will be part of a Team of L2 Keyworkers and will receive good supervision from an experienced manager.

Additional Information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
