Wood Mill Machinist

Belfield Leisure has an opportunity within the Wood Mill department, reporting to the Operations Manager.

This role is based at our Hallam Fields Site and operates 5 days a week from Monday to Friday.

The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows:

- Using machines including Crosscut Saw, Dim sawm Band Saw, Panel Saw, Wood Planer, Drill and Beam Saw
- Operating and programming the CNC Machine
- Ensuring a safe system of work is maintained at all times.
- Operate high standards of Health & safety within the site.

The following qualities are required:

- Must have Beam Saw training and experience.
- The knowledge and ability to use computer programmes.
- The ability to prioritise in line with production requirements.
- Be self-motivated.

The successful applicant will be provided with sufficient training for the role by the current role holder.
