**Tax Compliance Manager - Leeds - Highly competitive salary and benefits package**
Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with this market leading, fast growing international group of companies who are offering a fantastic opportunity to join their group finance function as Tax Compliance Manager. You will have the opportunity to shapethis newly created role and support the rapid growth and expansion of the Group’s operations in the UK and globally.
The Tax Compliance Manager will be accountable for supporting the corporate tax compliance and tax reporting function of the UK and international group companies, working closely with the Group Tax Manager. You will optimise the group tax position from a domestic& international perspective and ensure compliance with all corporate filing deadlines as it continues to expand internationally.

**The Group Tax Manager role will involve**:

- Managing the UK tax compliance function and overseeing the tax compliance for overseas entities ensuring tax returns are filed on time
- Assistance in the preparation of the Corporate Interest Restriction Return for the group
- Preparation of year-end tax disclosures under UK GAAP and IFRS for statutory accounts and consolidated accounts disclosures
- Managing the audit process and liaison with external auditors
- Calculate and manage instalment payments for the UK and manage the payments position for non-UK companies
- Manage the SAO process including updating process maps and filing certificates with HMRC
- Assistance with HMRC inquiries
- Managing direct reports
- Assisting the Group Tax Manager with ad-hoc project
- Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified) with strong PQE experience
- Strong group corporate tax planning experience gained in a top tier accounting firm or a large, fast paced ideally international industry setting
- Working knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and IFRS tax accounting. International tax exposure is desirable
- Knowledge and experience using corporate tax software
- Exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills and willing to challenge
- Proactive, enthusiastic and problem-solving approach
- Ability to make recommendations and drive improvements
- Driven and diligent individual with commercial acumen
- Ability to work well under pressure and strict deadlines
