Seasonal Gardener

**Our homes** is looking for a Seasonal Gardener who is hands-on, you’ll assist in making sure that the gardens are maintained to a high standard. You’ll be passionate and enthused and knowledgeable about the varied plants within the garden.

**Locations**:
Derwent Lodge Nursing Home, 197 New Ferry Road, CH62 1DX

Lezayre Nursing Home, Egerton Park, CH42 4RB

**The Role**:

- Cultivating grassed areas, flower beds, hedges, shrubs, and borders
- Carrying out landscaping duties including drainage clearance, pathways, and steps
- Clearing leaves around the site, both by machine and manually
- Carrying out minor repairs around the estate
- Helping with guttering and gully clearance

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience working within grounds care and maintenance
- Strong general plant knowledge
- Competent working to Health and Safety and COSHH regulations
- Any qualifications within the horticultural would be desirable, but not essential.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
