We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, competent, and self-motivated bench joiner to become part of a team within a family business. Skills & Knowledge:

- Background in joinery / carpentry essential
- Competent in the use of hand and power tools and traditional techniques to measure, mark, cut, shape, join, fit, fix finish wood/timber according to the drawings / specifications
- Able to understand and read from workshop drawings
- Previous experince of CNC woddworking machines
- Develop good working relationships with colleagues and support them when required
- Assess risks and have a responsible attitude towards working safety
- A commitment to quality work
- The ability to work in a well organised and accurate way
- A commitment to punctuality and self-motivation

S&R Interiors are looking for a skilled bench joiner with some construction background although not essential, who will ideally have some knowledge of dimension saws, edge banders, CNC and wood working tools. The applicant should be competent in the use of hand and power tools and traditional techniques to measure, mark, cut, shape, join, fit, fix finish wood/timber according to the drawings / specifications. Hard manual labour will be required, which can sometimes include additional hours. The role will be carried out at our workshop in Tangmere, Chichester.

**Responsibilities**

Assisting in the manufacture and assembly of joinery items.

Working hours

Monday - Friday (Overtime available during week and weekends)

40 hours per week - working hours to be agreed with placement

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
