Dog Walker

We are recruiting a Dog Walker to join our Multi Award-Winning Dog Walking Team

**Responsibilities**
- Provide first-class customer service to the company’s high standards
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge and understanding of canine body language
- Build quality relationships with our customers to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for the Simply the Pets.
- Understand and execute our individual clients specific requirements to a very high standard.
- Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walk
- Maintain control of dogs during walks to ensure their safety and the safety of others
- Clean up after dogs during walks and properly dispose of waste
- Provide photo and video content for our social media

**You’ll need**:

- A confident, composed approach to walking up to four dogs at one time
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Physical stamina to walk for extended periods of time and handle energetic dogs
- Self-motivated to learn and develop your industry knowledge.
- An out of the box thinking mentality, to deal with potential problems appropriately and to provide our clients with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- A strong ability to work within a team remotely with a can-do attitude who is not afraid to get stuck in
- You love and enjoy the outdoors - our dogs need a walk whatever the weather so if the idea of being out in the cold, wet, hot or strong winds sounds like your idea of hell this is probably not the job for you
- Great organisational skills to keep to our busy schedules
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with dog owners and provide updates on their pets' activities
- Live near: Purley, Kenley, Caterham, South Croydon, Coulsdon, Warlingham or Sanderstead
- You hold a current UK driving licence & have access to a reliable vehicle to travel to various locations for dog walking assignments - it will get wet, smelly & muddy

Previous experiencing working with animals is desirable although not a necessity if you can demonstrate you have sufficient experience owning and caring for pets.

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
