CNC Machinist/toolmaker

**SRS Partnership** are recruiting for someone who has experience within tool and mould making within the manufacturing process.

The engineering team at their client’s site in Cumbernauld is a key part of the business, creating and delivering the technology and skills needed to design & manufacture innovative products for their customers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manufacture new tools and refurbish existing tooling for the production areas.
- Diagnose tooling or moulding problems / repair of the mould or tool.
- Where breakdowns occur, repair tooling & machinery efficiently.
- Follow PPM schedules and highlight areas of potential risk of downtime.
- Operate conventional machine tools and use inspection tools and techniques.

**What do you need to be considered for the role?**
- Ideally be a time served **Tool or Mould-Maker** with a modern apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Tool or Mould Maker role.
- Ability to fault find & rectify tools in response to component quality defects.
- Proficient in **CNC programming** / operating of vertical and horizontal centre - Haass.
- Strong communicator.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of lean manufacturing.

**Hours of Work will be Monday-Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-3.30pm.**

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
