Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to play, and develop their social skills. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion to make a positive impact on children's lives.

**Duties**:

- Organise and supervise play activities for children in accordance with established guidelines
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes play
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to enhance children's physical, cognitive, and social development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care
- Communicate effectively with parents.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a clean and organised play area
- Assist with serving snacks and monitoring dietary restrictions
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence, creativity, and self-expression
- Collect children from school ensuring that appropriate behaviour is adhered to in the school grounds and while walking to the hall

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is required level 3 or above
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to drive positive behaviour and manage challenging situations effectively
- Knowledge of early Playwork principles and practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding and supervising children's activities

We offer min wage for your age. This is a part-time position with opportunities for overtime.
