**Role: Full Time**

**Hours: 4 day week Monday-Thursday / 37 hours per week**

**Our opportunity**

Thales Under Water Systems who provide Mission Planning, Situational Awareness and Information Management Systems for defence are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Planner.

This is a growth role designed to help with the delivery of increased workloads on the programmes.

Joining a friendly and collaborative team, you will be responsible for supporting the Master Planner, contributing to the production preparation, determining lead times and cost elements and defining the procurement and production parameters of all active items. In this role, you will maintain and manage all parts supply through internal systems and ensure all materials are on the shop floor in support of production activities.

**About you**

You should have a few years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing background, and are looking for your next career move. You will need to be able to work unsupervised and be a motivated self-starter, able to priority set with the following:

- Good computer literacy
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with Suppliers
