We have a great opportunity for **Finance Assistant** to join our Kerry Team. The role is based in Portadown, Co. Armagh, Norther Ireland. Alternatively, it can be based in Ossett, West Yorkshire, England.

It is a full-time, permanent position. Mainly office based, but there is an option for hybrid working after passing probation.

As a **Finance Assistant**, you will work across sites in Portadown and Ossett supporting Senior Finance Analyst in maintaining and delivering accurate and timely financial information; and following internal controls and processes to help the finance team meet reporting deadlines.

It is an entry level role and you will receive training and support with pursuing financial or accounting qualification with professional accounting body.

**What will I be doing?**:
After the training, your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the Team with month-end financial reporting; preparing account reconciliations, accruals and pre
- payment analysis.
- Liaising with different departments on the sites and performing weekly commercial analysis and reporting.
- Running weekly reports.
- Using SAP system.
- Occasional travels between Portadown and Ossett sites, several times a year

**What do I need to be successful?**:

- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Problem solving skills and a curious mind, always willing to ask questions.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Attention to detail to catch errors.
- Good time management.
- Excel knowledge desirable.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) at minimum. On the job training will be provided.
