We are looking for Delivery Driver's to join our team based in Witney, to carry out Water deliveries to our customers, usually between 8 and 20 drops, on delivery routes which cover mainly Oxfordshire and some of the surrounding counties.

This is very much a customer service orientated role, you will be on client sites and communicating directly with clients at each drop.

Each bottle of water weighs 20 kilo’s, we have bottle trolleys for the larger delivery's but you will also be required to carry bottles at some sites, so being physically fit is important for this role.

In the mornings we head off on route from our warehouse in Witney and when the route is complete, the van is manually re-loaded at the Bottling Plant, within the grounds of Blenheim Palace for the next day. The vehicle is then returned to our Warehouse in Witney.

Having route planning skills will be an advantage as well as experience of driving a commercial van, taking care of the van, and carry out regular vehicle checks.

Our clients have different requirements, and you will be trained on how to carry out deliveries, where to park, where the water is stored and what products the client orders and any special arrangements with deliveries.

When back at the unit at the end of your delivery run, as well as preparing your van for the next delivery day, we have various other work that as a team we carry out for the smooth operations of the business.

We are a small team and we are looking for a reliable, flexible, organised person, who is polite, with a positive nature, with a ‘can do’ approach, who is friendly but with a professional manner, whilst representing the company.

A full UK Driving Licence is required, that you have held for a minimum of 2 years, ideally with a clean license or with a maximum of 3 points, with no prior dis-qualifications for driving.

**The ideal person will**:
Live locally to the Witney area at a fixed address.

Have some experience of driving a 3.5t commercial van will be an advantage.

Be physically fit as the role involves lifting bottles which weigh 20kgs.

Have polite communication skills and work well with others.

Have some geographic knowledge of our delivery area will be an advantage.

**Terms**:
Rate of Pay: £12.30 per hour, rising after your trial period**.**

Days worked: Monday to Friday.

Hours worked: 8am to 4pm and finish at 3.30pm on Friday, with a half our unpaid lunchbreak.

Holiday Pay is 28 days including bank holidays.

Pension Scheme.

Company Uniform will be supplied, you will be required to supply your own 'All black' safety footwear.
