Working for a well-established and ever-expanding employer based in East Leeds, this temporary role is immediate with the opportunity to become permanent. They are looking for an experienced Service Controller to show their initiative and vast communication skills. The role will initially be 2 months commitment with the possibility of being extended to a permanent role.

You will be working with a fast-paced team, responsible for organising highly skilled field-based engineers. You will be ensuring everything runs smoothly and providing the best service and support for all functions of the service department.

**Responsibilities**
- Carry out general service and maintenance control duties, including processing paperwork, updating computer records
- Responsible for logging breakdowns accurately and in line with all guidelines
- Liaise with clients, agreeing recharges and raising invoices
- Responsible for all follow up communication with clients
- Raise recharge invoices on AS400 system
- All general administration of whole process and keeping all records up to date, filling all paperwork
- Carry out daily walk round checks of the premises and report defects/issues to the Health and Safety Manager
- Assist all Service Team Leaders in any aspect of service and maintenance control, organising servicing and maintenance
- Arrange correct ordering of necessary parts and coordinating to the Engineers
- Support all training briefs, manuals, and certification

**Requirements**:

- Vast initiative and ability to prioritise varied workload
- Experience and confidence on the phones
- Good accuracy to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work deadlines
- Organisational skills
- Computer literate, especially with Microsoft Word / Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Adhere to company Health, Safety and Environmental laws

**Hours**:37.5 hours, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 5:30pm. You will have 1 hour lunch break and flexibility with start/finish times

**Rates**: £11 per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

- Leeds, LS25 2ET: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
