We currently have a fantastic role at Grade House Ltd for a Fashion Design Assistant to join our team.

The Fashion Design Assistant would be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our design possess. You would be responsible for overseeing the product development processes, corresponding with clients and resolving issues.

We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, a self starter who has experience in design possess and product development. Someone who is passionate about the fashion industry and keen to develop their skills would be ideal.

Established in 2010, Grade House Ltd offer a wide range of services that seamlessly allow you to bring your creations to life. With a sum of over twenty years’ experience and producing for popular brands, such as Victoria Beckham, Alexander McQueen, Simone Rocha, Erdem and many more. As well as emerging designers.

Grade House services include, but are not limited to; Design development, pattern cutting, Toiling, Fitting, Pattern amendments, Sampling, Production, Pattern grading, Pattern printing on paper or card, Size specifications, Digital patterns and small production runs.

About the role
- Developing clients designs - creating CAD flats for tech packs
- Liaising with clients about the progress of their projects
- Update and monitor critical path to ensure deadlines are met
- Coordinate with head machinist to schedule in samples and production
- Fabric sourcing - updating fabric sourcing records
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers, such as printers and embroiderers
- Accepting deliveries from customers and distributing them to the correct people
- Booking couriers and packing deliveries
- General office admin including ordering supplies
- Taking new client meetings
- Raising invoice
- Raising new client orders
- Coordinate the team and delegate tasks appropriately

**Skills Required**:

- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to produce accurate jobs under pressure
- Ability to see issues and deal with them quickly and efficiently
- Able to work successfully within a team to meet tight deadlines
- Able to work individually and use your intuitive
- Uses their initiative to help in the smooth running of the studio
- Passionate and enthusiastic
- Polite manner and ‘can do’ attitude
- Flexible and reliable
- Willing to learn

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year
