Welder/laborer

Meadowbank Coatings are a rapidly expanding Industrial coatings company, located in Rotherham close to the M1.

Through our customer service and commitment to a quality, we have continued to remain extremely busy during these difficult times.

Due to our expansion we currently have a position vacant for a Skilled Welder/Handyman/Labourer.

Position will involve the repair and welding of shipping containers and the maintenance of the building and machinery. Assisting in varies odd jobs and in the installation of any new plant or building works. Position may also include assisting painters and shot blasters at times in their production duties, and unloading and loading of lorries.

Working hours will be 8hrs per day. Start finish times to be arranged, these could be flexible to suit the applicant. Overtime as and when required depending on availability.

Applicant must have previous experience of maintenance of machinery or similar work. Experience on a fork lift truck and or overhead crane operations would be an distinct advantage. Previous welding experience is essential.

Applicant must be physically fit as the position involves the lifting of heavy items, and manual working.

Applicant will be required to work with mínimal supervision and be able to adapt to varies products and techniques.

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Welding: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Crane or fork truck licence (preferred)
