Qc Inspector

The Quality Inspector will perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements. You will carry out product and process surveillance, including the liaison with manufacturing personnel to ensure that any problems identified and recorded are dealt with effectively. You will also Raise non-conformance records related to product build problems.

**As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for**:

- Carrying out specialist inspection techniques in accordance with build requirements and Contribute to departmental improvement initiatives
- Ensuring all aspects of production are carried out in accordance with company procedures relating to HSE and relevant quality Codes of Practice.
- Ensuring Work Order documentation is correct and completed to date before, during and on completion of the build process.
- Providing the verification and sign off of process generated documentation related to the manufacture of subsea controls and ancillary equipment
- Ensuring safe working practices are adhered to at all times and general working order is maintained to a high standard

**Fuel your passion**:
To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a background in Mechanical Engineering, ideally as an apprentice or with a relevant qualification plus industrial experience
- Have experience in Quality Auditing, Inspection and Checks
- Have ideally had some experience with Root Cause Analysis and Non-Conformance Analysis
- Be a self-starter who is driven to learn and develop their skillset further
