**Job Title**: Experienced Mechanic / Advisor

**Location**: Mitcham

**Salary**: £32k - £35k per annum DOE

**Job Type**: Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm, No Weekends.

**Job outline **
- To service, repair and MOT vehicles in order to achieve the highest standard of customer satisfaction and quality of repair.
- To cover reception/advisory duties & running of workshop when line Manager is on holiday.

**What you will need to do**:

- To promote a helpful and professional image to customers.
- To co-operate with any colleague requiring assistance and treat them with respect.
- To service, repair and MOT vehicles to a high standard.
- To accurately diagnose faults to vehicles.
- To give correct, informative and accurate advice to managers or staff.
- To road test vehicles when necessary in order to diagnose faults or when work is complete to confirm satisfactory repair.
- To carry out MOT Tests to the set standards required by D.V.S.A.
- As a “Key Holder" when required/agreed, to cover reception duties & running of workshop when line Manager is on away/on holiday. To lock the Company, organize security of vehicles inside the building, confirm all usual utilities and machines are switched off and alarm the premises.
- To identify and report hazards, maintenance requirements, equipment failure and stock shortage in the workplace.
- To comply with health & safety, fire, and employment statutory and legal requirements.
- To maintain cleanliness in all areas and to be reasonably presented wearing the uniform provided.
- To carry out any reasonable request from Management including collection or delivery of parts, cars or customers.
- To adhere to company rules and to attend all meetings as required.
- To carry out all of the above so not to cause complaint or concern by the customer.
- To carry out all of the above so not to cause unnecessary expense to Willow Motor Works or the customer.
