Plater

We are looking for a plater to join our company that has over 100 years of history. The role will require a time-served plater who will work as part of our production team, based at John Street Wishaw. The role will involve the assembly/fabrication of medium to heavy steel bridges and steel structures. Experience in this field would be beneficial.
- Interpret detailed fabrication drawings
- Be self-motivated and show initiative
- Be available to work overtime when required
- Have a good knowledge of the fabrication processes such as burning, grinding, drilling of steel
- Be committed to health and safety requirements

Moving forward the role may develop into occasional site work within the Network Rail Infrastructure.
