Weighbridge Operator

The main responsibility of the role is to operate the weighbridge, liaising with all drivers and customers, processing and filing the tickets and waste transfer notes keeping an accurate record at all times for compliance purposes.

Key Skills and Knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good attention to detail when processing data
- A positive and proactive worth ethic
- Good IT skills and be proficient in using MS Office, in particular Outlook and Excel
- Experience of working with in-house IT packages
- Good team player but also happy to work on own
- Self-motivated, pro-active, flexible and adaptable
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to carefully follow procedure and protocol
- Essential to have experience of working with health and safety guidelines, and be safety

conscious
- Full driving licence
- Previous environmental, waste, composting experience desirable but not essential
