**The Role**
You will be part of our Events team, reporting into the Head of Hospitality and Events. You will be responsible for ensuring the events business runs smoothly by overseeing all aspects of maintenance, security, fire safety and health and safety of St Giles House.
You will also be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accommodation business, helping to make St Giles a luxury getaway of choice. This role will involve some late nights as the key holder for the house on event evenings.
**The Key Responsibilities**
- Ensuring the smooth running and upkeep of the main house, by engaging and assisting outside contractors, service providers and suppliers as directed by the head of events.
- Maintenance of the property on a regular and routine basis, including maintenance of security and communication systems and record keeping
- Fire safety awareness
- Assistance with the accommodation hire via online routes, including managing bookings, and enquiries
- Being a physical presence in and around the properties for security and peace of mind, which will include late night key holding of the house when events are on.
- Assistance in health and safety management for the Events business.
- Waste management, including recycling, rubbish disposal and composting.
- Assisting with the housekeeping team to maintain the properties on site for self catering clients and to be a front of house face for guests if they encounter problems when onsite too.

**Salary**: £12,000.00-£15,000.00 per year
