**About the role of cook**

Little Town Farm Shop is a friendly, family run business, established 20 years ago. We take pride in serving the highest quality, homemade produce, in our Farm Shop and Cafe which has recently been extended with seating for up to 100 people. Products for the Café and Farm Shop are created in our busy kitchen, using the best locally sourced produce as well as our home reared meat.

This is a full-time cook position and some weekend work will be required, however there is rarely evening work.

Duties to include:

- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the established recipes, customer needs and preferences, ensuring that all food is consistently prepared
- Ensure that all food leaving your section is visually appealing and meets the established standards
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in your assigned section and throughout the kitchen

**Knowledge, experience, and qualifications required**:

- Experience within the catering/food preparation industry
- Food hygiene and safety for catering qualification
- Enthusiastic, committed, and self-motivated
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Well organised and able to work at pace

Pay: Up to £11.56 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
