James Chase are looking for a.Net Developer to join our clients existing.Net, C# development team and follow the drive for improvements and new technical solutions for the company and its members.
We are looking for a passionate.Net Developer. In order to be successful in this role you must demonstrate the following attributes:
? Problem-solving abilities and root cause analysis in a complex environment
? An aptitude for finding creative solutions to fast-changing situations
? An understanding of REST APIs and SOAP protocols
? Strong communication skills at all levels of the Business and IT hierarchy
? an understanding of the CI/CD processes and source control (GIT)
? A delivery-focused approach
? A positive team attitude with the willingness to maintain high professional standards.
**Key Tasks/Accountabilities: -**
? Be an advocate of best practices within the team
? Help the team achieve common technical goals
? Help facilitate technical design walkthroughs and code reviews
? Show ability to take a hands-on approach to critical issues and help close the
resolution
databases to design, develop, test and deliver robust solutions
? Be a team player who can work collaboratively with the development team and
internal customers alike
**Essential Skills & Experience Required**:
? 2+ years C# experience
? 2+ years ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core
? 1+ years SQL Server
? 1+ year GIT or other source control process
? Experience in Visual Studio
? Can demonstrate an understanding of SOLID principles and is familiar with design pattern concepts
**Beneficial Skills & Experience Required**:
? Some experience in using JIRA for tracking task management
? Some experience in using RDMS and NoSQL databases like MS SQL and Redis
? Some experience in creating and building microservices using ASP.NET
? Some experience in developing using Test Driven Development
? Some experience with ReSharper
? Some understanding of Domain-Driven Design
? Some understanding of Dependency Injection usage, techniques and optimisations
? Hands on experience with DevOps principles, tools and techniques - ideally
Jetbrains TeamCity, Octopus Deploy and New Relic
? An advocate of DevOps principles
? Attention to detail and can complete tasks accordingly
? Problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure
? Have some experience with Angular/React
? Any experience with RabbitMQ, Episerver or any CMS, CA API Gateway would be a bonus
