Hides Operative

Full Time - 7am to Finish - Averaging approximately 45 Hours per week
Monday to Friday, No bank holidays - Occasional Saturday work available

ABP Langport are currently recruiting for a Hides Processing Operative to work on a day shift at their meat processing site. This is a permanent position offering approximately 45 hours per week working Monday to Friday. The role involves processing and palletising hides and preparing them ready for export.
- The processing of hides in accordance with abattoir operations and customer specifications
- Ensuring deadlines are met and yields are maximised
- Processing all hides in a timely and effective manner
- Forklift experience would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given
- A good attention to detail, willing to learn and punctual
- Ability to work as part of a team and a flexible approach to working hours
- A good level of general fitness to work in a physically demanding role
