The successful Tax Senior will be able to work efficiently on self-assessments and be able to confidently contact both clientsand HMRC. The role of a Tax Senior requires attention to detail and an ability to work well within the Tax team. If you are an experienced Tax Senior with a keen eye for detail, then this company could be the one for you.

The Tax Senior applicant must have at least 2 years' experience within a practice, preparing self-assessment tax returns. The role of the Tax Senior is to manage their own portfolio, as well as provide assistance to the Tax Manager and Tax Director as andwhen required.

**Tax Portfolio Manager Position Overview**
- Manage a portfolio of around 250 clients.
- Carry out and deal with IHT, CGT & EMI for a number of clients
- Be responsible for billing clients
- Assist the tax manager and directors as required
- Manage work load and be efficient in time keeping

**Tax Portfolio Manager Position Requirements**
- ATT/AAT/CTA qualifications may be useful but are not essential - practical experience is more important
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice.
- 2 years of experience preparing self-assessment income tax returns and correspondence
- Good understanding of Word, Excel and Outlook and tax software packages

**Tax Portfolio Manager Position Remuneration**
- Salary £40,000 to £55,000 dependant on experience and qualifications
- Hybrid work from home model (3 days per week)
- 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays
