**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting into the Supply Planning Manager the Senior Production Scheduler will be responsible for line managing a team of schedulers across different sites to ensure standardisation and best practice in scheduling across the Eakin Healthcare business. Armed with a problem-solving mindset and nimble with technology, will practice a solve it once and for all approach to enable time to be spent on value adding activities.

You will also be accountable for generating production schedules across all production lines, including final packing and sampling, to satisfy customer demand and maximise production efficiency. you will be planning the production across your designated value stream.

You will work as part of the supply and execution team but have close partnerships with our manufacturing production management teams, supervisors and line leads within the facility.

**KEY ACTIVITIES**
- Line management of a small team of schedulers across multiple sites.
- Standardising scheduling processes across multiple sites and business units
- Supporting Supply Planning and wider business continuous improvement projects and objectives.
- Responsible for ensuring recording and reporting of key Supply Planning metrics to wider business.
- Supporting achievement of Supply Planning and wider Operations metrics and identifying / implementing corrective actions.
- Working with Product Management to provide data and support with range reviews
- Monitor slow moving, short expiry, and obsolete FG stock at site, and liaise with Demand Management and wider operations team to minimise.
- Planning of production lines as designated.
- Liaison with Supply Planning stakeholder to provide 1st class scheduling service and communication.
- Work with Business Information Services to produce key reports and metrics data
- Ensuring works Instructions and SOPs are developed to support scheduling processes across multiple sites
- Create and maintain production schedules to ensure all company goals are achieved and deadlines are met
- Idea generation geared toward moving to automated system driven solutions. Design, develop and document the detailed scheduling processes.
- Assess work orders, evaluate, address and flag variances, updating MRP master data where necessary.
- Feed in to the strategic and tactical supply plans as needed to support the Eakin Business Planning process.
- Liaise with Procurement team to alleviate any material constraints and provide visibility of future material requirements.
- Supporting monthly S&OP process.
- Supporting the review and maintenance of key planning parameters for FG and sub assembly SKUs.
- Supporting R&D process with scheduling of new product introductions and trials**.**

**Desirable**
- Previous experience with Sage X3.
- Formal Supply Chain credential (APICS)
- Able to lead meetings and presentations to all levels of organisation
- Experience of line management of a small team
- An understanding of fundamental lean Six Sigma concepts and tools
- 5S methodologies

**KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**

**Internal**
- Interact cross-functionally and cross-site within the manufacturing teams, Warehousing, Procurement, Commercial team and wider Supply Planning Team
- Collaborate within scheduling and wider supply planning to ensure the immediate and short-term planning and execution plans are well understood and communicated.
