Majestic is the UK’s largest specialist wine retailer, operating a network of over 200 stores nationwide. Founded in 1980, the company recently passed back into private ownership following the acquisition of Fortress Investment Group and has undergone an ambitious transformation and turnaround programme. The results of which are now being seen, with record market share growth, a new and improved product range, a new website and six new stores - with a pipeline for future expansion over the next five years. With no minimum purchase, the Majestic range includes over 1,100 different wines, spirits and beers both online and in-store. Majestic’s key strength is over 1,000 WSET-trained colleagues offering knowledgeable, friendly service across all channels.

**The Role**:
Responsible for the development, campaign planning and timely, cost effective implementation of Majestic in-store communications including Point of Sale (POS), pricing posters and other customer in-store marketing materials. Supporting and develop ATL Media planning skillset through working closely with Senior Marketing Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and plan a calendar of in-store content to support promotional activity, communicate our product range, and strengthen the Majestic brand, ensuring that all content is on-brand, on time, accurate and in budget.
- Work with our internal Design Team, Suppliers and Retail Opts to modernise and improve all in-store content, leading innovation on format and style.
- Manage the POS database which contains product descriptions, pricing and promotional offers. Ensure an accurate flow of information and automation of processes.
- Ensure POS is accurate and updated according to changing campaign and trading circumstances. Communicate this information to stores.
- Lead the relationship with our POS Printers and be the first port of call for their integration with Majestic. Gain a good understanding of print processes used to produce Majestic POS and posters by visiting relevant printers as required.
- Implement a POS, poster and campaign support plan for each promotional period, including print and distribution specifications, within agreed budgets.
- Continually review and recommend improvements to POS and poster systems and designs.
- Project manage and implement in-store materials to support the launch of new stores and new store formats as well as assist new store operations in POS merchandising
- Monitor and evaluate competitors and other Retailers’ in-store communications and suggest relevant ideas and solutions for Majestic
- Seek and obtain operational feedback, visiting stores for a minimum of a day per month. Create lively dialogue with stores, constantly cheerleading for ‘best in class’ execution of POS and content campaigns.
- Execute Supplier-led Product Partnership activity, as agreed with Trade Planning and Buying.
- Be an integral part of the Marketing Team, contributing to other areas of Design, Copywriting, Creative and Campaign Planning.

**Knowledge & Skills Required**:

- Strong Wine Product Knowledge is preferred but not essential.
- High standard of copywriting and creative direction
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise confidently and effectively at all levels of the business
- Attention to detail must be second-to-none, executing campaigns that are right first time
- Highly organised and self-motivated with a proven ability to prioritise effectively
- Ability to remain calm and function effectively under pressure
- A team player who enjoys contributing to the success of the business and the people they work with.
- Be confident, enthusiastic, fun-loving and above all be eager to learn and develop.
