Animal Attendant

Responsibilities:

- Provide weekend care and attention to animals (2X horses) (15 chickens)
- Feed and water animals
- Clean and maintain animal enclosures, including removing waste and sanitizing surfaces.
- Monitor the health and behaviour of animals, reporting any concerns
- Assist with grooming and bathing of animals as needed
- Clean and maintain the animal’s environment; some gardening duties

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- ability to follow instructions accurately

This is a part-time position. May suit person at college /apprentice studying animal welfare If you are passionate about animal welfare and enjoy working in a countryside environment, we would love to hear from you.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £120.00 per week

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
