Based Approx 3 miles south of Elgin, QHS are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team on a part / fulltime basis (hours / days are negotiable but between 32 - 39 hours per week required)

Working closely with the directors, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting and payroll tasks.

This role will suit a detail-orientated individual, with solid numerical skills.

The main duties of this role are:

- Sorting and checking incoming invoices for accuracy and inputting onto sage.
- Producing creditors list weekly for payment approval.
- Inputting payments and accessing reports on online banking.
- Bank, Creditors & Supplier reconciliations.
- Preparation of accounts to Trial Balance & month end reporting
- VAT processing and claims
- Processing monthly payroll and pension scheme administration
- Preparation of cashflow forecasts

The key requirements are:

- Experience of Sage Accounting systems (or similar software).
- A strong background working in a similar role.
- Organisational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc).
- The ability to work as part of a team in a small office as well as being able to work autonomously.
- Confidence in working to tight deadlines and delivering a high quality of information.
