Yard Supervisor

**Yard Supervisor**

Based at our site at Twycross (CV9 3PU), we are looking for a team player to work within a small team who has excellent attendance records, who will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the yard. Working hours for this role are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, Saturdays as and when required.

**Responsibilities**
- Complete necessary office admin/ paperwork accurately and timely, monitoring this on a weekly basis
- Perform routine inspections
- Maintain appropriate records
- Dealing with customers
- General duties to ensure a clean and organised yard area
- Perform various cleaning and organisational tasks to support the efficient operation of the site
- Safely unload and load raw materials from trucks
- General dealings with fallen stock
- Cleaning dolavs (large containers) thoroughly
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, using correct PPE as required
- Operate forklifts and other machinery to move materials as required
- Assist with any other tasks as required by supervisors/ your manager

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably from a slaughter man or agricultural background
- Ability to operate forklifts and other yard machinery (training can be given)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- HGV class 1 /2 licence is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills

**Due to site location, own transport is essential.**

Pay: From £14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 50 per week

**Experience**:

- Slaughterman: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
