An established primary school known for its teacher training program in Reading in Berkshire is currently recruiting for an intelligent and proactive teaching assistant to join them ASAP. The graduate would be working alongside the class teacher helpingthe children with their learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a top graduate to develop their experience within education prior to becoming a full qualified Primary Teacher. The school is in Ascot and there is parking on-site. The successful teachingassistant will work across KS1 and KS2.

Teaching Assistant Criteria:

- **Graduate (ideally 2:1 or above)**:

- **Previous experience working with children in a TA environment**:

- **Good education background (GCSE's in Maths and English)**:

- **Can commit to minimum 1 full academic yea**

**_Build experience and train to become a Primary Teacher_**

A graduate with a degree graded 2:1 or above is ideal for this role and a graduate with some previous experience working with children is desirable. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, helping within a nursery, in a sportsetting, charity or in a similar classroom setting. However, this is not crucial - Graduates with no experience are still welcome

The Primary school in Newbury are looking for bright and enthusiastic graduates who are passionate about their input into a child's education. The graduate appointed will be supporting the children in their numeracy and literacy and your primary role willbe to ensure each child is fulfilling the learning objective for each lesson.

A graduate with a strong educational background is required for this role including GCSE's in Maths and English (C or above).

**Contract Type: 1 year contract**

**Salary: £70-£90 per day**
