Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing’s team have been exclusively retained to manage a recruitment campaign for our prestigious client based Sheffield.

The client is a worldwide leader in design and manufacturing for the orthopedic and medical device markets, including joint reconstruction, spine, trauma, sports medicine, extremities and dental. With 14 world-class facilities located around the globe, they continue to provide others an opportunity to live a better life through the products, services and the way the company conducts business.

Their Sheffield facility based off the Sheffield Parkway comprises a Forge, Foundry and CNC Machining and Finishing processes. It employs approximately 230 people and focuses on joint reconstruction, in particular knee and hip joints and also the instruments required to fit the medical device parts.

They currently have a vacancy available within the Final Finishing Department.

They are looking for individuals with experience or a desire to work in the following role:
Polisher - Linisher

Hours: 39 hours per week

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pM/Friday 7am-12 Noon

Hourly Rate: £12.50 - £13.36p/h (Linisher) - Depending on skills and experience

Hourly Rate: £13.50 to £14.68 p/h (Polisher) - Depending on skills and experience

Overtime: Paid at time and ½ after 39 hours

Reporting to the Forge Team Leader you will be responsible for:

- Polishing of Cobalt & Titanium components to a final finish
- Using polishing wheels to achieve a final polished finish

**Experience**:

- Must have experience of Polishing material to a high standard
