The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, assisting the unit Manager to:

- Establish oneself as a respected team leader, leading the team by example to deliver great food and beverages.
- The day-to-day running of the Café
- Supporting the team in driving the business
- Lead the team to deliver outstanding service with passion and attention to detail.
- Identify possibilities to improve the operation and the business.

The position involves working within the Management structure, deputising for the Unit Manager in their absence, to motivate and develop the staff to deliver a high standard of service while managing the business needs and performance standards.

You will need to have key skills such as these, but they are not limited to:

- Experience in catering & hospitality
- Wide knowledge of food and service styles
- An ability to demonstrate suitable financial acumen and budgetary control
- The ability and enthusiasm to develop and progress with the role
- Basic Computer skills
- Have or have had a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Understand managing COSHH, Health & Safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- Flexibility with hours and days worked as Managers are expected to cover 5 shifts a week.
- A smart, professional, and personable demeanour

**Salary**:
This will be negotiable: Between £24,000 and £27,000, dependent upon experience.
- **Due to the start and end time of shifts, in addition to the key skills above, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate that they are able to commute to and from the unit within 30 minutes from where they reside.**_
