Campervan Converter

We are a small company who specialise within the motorhome/campervan industry, we are specialist converters of all types of vans from small day vans to large motorhomes, we work with all of the well known makes such as VW, Ford, Vauxhall and Renault. The company has been built from the love of camping and motorhomes, so we take great pride in our work and our enthusiasm has helped us grow our name.

**Job description**

Reporting and working directly with the company owner you will be covering all aspects of campervan building, we carry out full van conversions and also offer a smaller part conversion. You will be responsible for the full conversion of the van from start to finish. The job role requires multiple skills, although on-site training will be provided for the right person, all or most of the skills below are required:

- Carpentry / cabinet building skills - using a CNC to produce bespoke furniture and building to a high specification
- Precision and accuracy and a keen eye for detail
- Experience using hand tools such as, jig saw, router, circular saw, hand drill, angle grinder, reciprocating saw, rivet gun, mastic gun
- Experience and a good understanding of 12v electrical systems and wiring
- Experience with hot and cold water systems
- Fit out experience
- Window and poptop roof fitting
- Installation of diesel heaters
- Insulation and lining/triming
- Installation of M1 tested rock and roll beds

This role requires someone who shares our love and enthusiasm for the camping and motorhome life, someone who is dedicated to their work and has a very high standard of work.

Being a small company, we are reliant on all members of the team to meet all targets on time, this may require some evening and weekend work.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
