**Role Overview**:
As a registered practitioner at Peppermint Clinic, you will be an integral part of our team, providing injectable treatments, skin care and advice, the use of cutting-edge technology via advanced skin care machines and laser equipment. You'll work closely with clients/patients to assess their skincare needs and develop customised treatment plans that help them achieve their desired results. Your expertise and professionalism will contribute to creating a positive and transformative experience for our clients. The job role will evolve as the business grows and expands.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform aesthetic treatments to an advanced level within the scope and remit of your practice.
- Perform medical treatments within the scope and remit of your practice.
- Perform a variety of laser treatments, including hair removal, pigmentation, skin rejuvenation, and thread veins.
- Perform advanced HIFU, advanced radio-frequency micro-needling, medical grade LED facials and other advanced skincare procedures.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their skin concerns and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Operate and maintain laser equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Advise clients on appropriate skincare products from our stocked range and recommend follow-up treatments for optimal results.
- Educate clients about treatment options, expected outcomes, and aftercare instructions.
- Educate patients on proper skincare routines, lifestyle modifications, and preventive measures to enhance and maintain skin health.
- Maintain accurate and organised client records and treatment notes.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in laser technology through on-going professional development and training.
- Ability to take good quality before and after photographs for purpose of both client records and social media posts.
- Be confident with nudity in treating men and women in accordance to the appropriate treatment.
- Create and post social media content in line with our brand guidelines.
- You must be able to work independently and provide support to other team members whenever necessary.

**Qualifications required**:

- Minimum of Level 6 (bachelor’s degree) Registered Nurse - **Essential**:

- Active Registration with NMC - **Essential**:

- Training in advanced aesthetics treatments (Botox, Dermal Fillers etc.) - **Essential**:

- Complications training in Aesthetics - **Essential**:

- Independent Prescriber - **Desirable**:

- Phlebotomy (taking of venous blood) - **Desirable**:

- Ear Wax Removal via Suctioning - **Desirable**:

- Core of Knowledge, Laser & Light - **Desirable**:

- Enhanced DBS check will be required for successful applicant (at applicants’ cost) - **Essential**

**Experience**:

- At least 2 years’ experience in aesthetics injectables to an advanced level
- At least 2 years in-clinic/salon experience

Further equipment specific training will be given to the successful applicant.

**Schedule/Hours of Work**:
Part-time - Initially 16 hours split over Thursday, Friday (10am-4:30pm) and Saturday mornings (9am-1pm).

Some flexibility would be desirable. In time there may be the option to extend those hours/days as the role and your client/patient base grows.
