Youth Engagement Worker

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Youth Engagement Worker to be a part of our team at Pendle YES Hub. As a vital member, you will play a crucial role in delivering and enhancing our programs focused on engagement, employability support, and health and wellbeing activities for young people in the Pendle area.
Key Responsibilities
**Engagement and Support**
- Provide comprehensive support in areas such as career advice, employability, health and wellbeing, and education and training for disadvantaged young people.
- Promote the YES Hub and its activities through various channels, ensuring visibility within the local community and among external partners and employers.
- Support girls and women with experiences of domestic violence or abuse, connecting them with specialized support services and health and wellbeing provisions.
- Collaborate with employers and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to facilitate 54 young people's access to employment opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with participants to co-produce case studies, highlighting successes and learnings.
**Data Monitoring and Management**
- Conduct initial assessments with Hub participants, ensuring accurate data capture.
- Regularly update participant records, recording relevant outcomes on a daily/weekly basis while ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Collaborate with project partners to update case records, share progress, and identify needs.
- Contribute to capturing impact through both qualitative and quantitative methods.
**Working with Partners**
- Build and maintain relationships with key services in Pendle, focusing on health, wellbeing, education, housing, and finance, facilitating 108 young people to overcome barriers to employment.
- Support the Project Lead in developing links to learning providers, enabling a minimum of 81 young people to enroll in educational establishments.
- Liaise with education and training providers, promoting learning opportunities resulting in a minimum of 42 young people gaining Level 1-3 qualifications.
- Collaborate with partner organizations to ensure young people receive appropriate support beyond the YES Hub service.
**Promote and Deliver Health & Wellbeing Activities**
- Plan and deliver activities that enhance opportunities for exercise and promote overall health and wellbeing.
Ensure activities, whether at the Hub or in the community, have appropriate risk assessments and prioritize the health and safety of young people.
- Work closely with the wider project team, project partners, and beneficiaries to share, promote, and develop various health and wellbeing opportunities.
- Support young people in becoming physically active by overcoming barriers to participation and sustainment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
**Salary**: £26,421.00-£29,269.00 per year
