Slaughterhouse Operative

**Main Duties & Responsibilities.**

**Production Operative/Intake Operatives**:

- To operate plant or machinery, Which will include process lines/forklifts/shunter vehicles/Loading Shovels etc (Training will be provided to successful applicants).
- To have a basic understanding of health and safety.
- To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer/held hand device.
- Clean driving license.
- The ability to work well with others.
- To be able to pay attention to detail.
- Good health and fitness.

**Day-to-day tasks include**:

- Operating production line equipment.
- Reporting equipment faults.
- Ensure finished products are with specifications.
- Monitoring the products and carrying out basic sampling tasks.
- Housekeeping.
- Driving different vehicles.
- Use of lifting equipment etc.
- Confined space entries.
- Ensuring health and safety guidance is followed etc.
