**Equans is looking for a Paint Inspector to join our team in Dunbar on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.**

The role holder will lead, motivate & supervise a team delivering Painting /Corrosion management tasks on work week, Helpdesk and projects.

**What will you deliver?**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role with teams of up to 15 people.
- Effective and decisive organisational skills with experience in introducing new ideas and approaches within the team.
- Ability to lead a team and communicate across all levels working within performance management systems.
- Experience in developing operational teams, focused on service delivery.
- Sound understanding of H&S, environment and QA procedures.

**Who are we looking for?**:

- Qualifications - Time served or as a minimum NVQ Level 2 in a specialism relevant to the role (e.g. Painters).
- Flexibility and adaptability to lead the team in a changing business environment.
- Commercial awareness to forecast accurate timings and communicate with client for updates.
- An ability to work under pressure taking ownership of all delegated tasks ensuring that all work is of a high standard.
- Able to Plan and prioritise work.
- Provide out of hours cover where required.
