**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join our dynamic team at Vp plc. Reporting to the Hire Desk Manager, you will be an integral part of our customer service department, responsible for providing exceptional support to our valued clients. Your role will encompass handling customer enquiries, resolving queries, and contributing to revenue generation through sales and hire transactions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Customer Care/Service:

- Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring their requirements are efficiently addressed.
- Collaborate closely with Branch Managers and Regional Operations teams for seamless customer service.
- Liaise with the clients Internal and External Plant Desk Teams and Managers.

Business Development:

- Assist in maximising revenue generation from sales, hire transactions, and related services.
- Contribute to upselling chargeable additions such as labour, consumables, damages, and transport.
- Support operational branches in recovering damage and transport costs as per guidelines.

Administration:

- Efficiently manage off hires, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of hire orders, transmitting customer information to branches promptly.
- Accurately input orders and queries into the designated system.

**What We're Looking For**:

- GCSE level Maths and English (or equivalent) is essential.
- Confidence in communicating effectively with individuals at various organisational levels.
- Prior experience in a customer service role is desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, capable of handling difficult messages professionally.
- Methodical and well-organised, maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
